Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember.
In junior high school, I had the opportunity to travel to our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. I was captivated by the architecture, the monuments, and the unfamiliar surroundings. I wanted to capture everything I was experiencing and share it with my family and friends back home.
My parents had sent me on that trip with a handful of travelers’ checks. Instead of souvenirs, I came home with handfuls of 35mm film. Looking back, it was Washington, D.C., through the eyes of a teenager, and the beginning of a lifelong passion for capturing the world through my camera.
In high school, I continued exploring the art of photography. My classes taught me the fundamentals of exposure and composition, along with the hands-on process of developing prints in a darkroom. Like many students, I worked my share of fast-food jobs, but I also had the privilege of working at Aloha Photography in Aloha, Oregon, alongside Melissa West.
I spent more than three years working with Melissa, photographing weddings, high school seniors, proms, and so much more. She taught me not only the craft of photography but also the business behind it, helping strengthen my appreciation for the art and the people behind every photograph.
Over the years, I continued photographing just about everything, always looking for the next opportunity to capture a meaningful moment or tell a story through images.

In 2013, my photography journey took an unexpected turn when I photographed my first concert. What began as an unplanned opportunity sparked a passion for music photography that continues to this day.
Photographing my favorite bands has challenged me creatively, sharpened my skills, and given me tremendous confidence behind the camera. It has also opened doors to a wide range of opportunities, from high school seniors, marching bands, and graduations to maternity portraits and weddings.
Today, I bring all of those experiences to every session and wedding I photograph. Whether I’m capturing the energy of a live performance or the once-in-a-lifetime moments of a wedding day, my goal remains the same: to create authentic images that tell a story and preserve memories for years to come.
